Trance dance is a healing process of free-form movement that leads you into an altered state of spiritual awakenings. It brings mental clarity, physical stamina and emotional well-being.
For thousands of years, ritual dance journeys have been a vital part of shamanic and eastern dance cultures for the purpose of connecting with our Higher Self, to worship and to heal. Trance dance now, is a contemporary approach that brings together the richness of these ancient rituals with trance inducing techniques. The primary focus of trance dance is on healing our relationship with ourselves and our Spirit.

"Like all vibrant elements of nature,
human beings grow in the light
and transform in the dark" ~ Unknown

With a unique blend of healing sounds, dynamic percussive rhythms and the use of a blindfold (optional), the dance takes participants on an inner journey not limited to our normal perceptions of space and time. In this altered or trance state there is no one else but one’s self, where we connect with our inner truths and a higher wisdom is revealed.
The person is led into the core of his/her soul, and out of this space comes inspirations, memories, ancient visions and healing. This is a place of creation where everything begins to get reorganized & the person moves into a blissful state of well-being with a deep connection to the divine.
Trance dance is the vehicle where you will connect completely to the healing powers of your Spirit.

"I praise the dance, for it frees people from the heaviness of matter and binds the isolated to community...Dance is a transformation of space, of time and of people who are in constant danger of becoming all brain, will or feeling." ~ St. Augustine
